Adrian

Adrian’s sure that no one’s going to bother him in the empty classroom, since it’s in one of the remote corners of the castle. He picks up the guitar and tunes it, then starts to sing while playing the guitar despite his recent injury. “Birds flying high… You know how I feel… Sun in the sky… You know how I feel… Breeze driftin’ on by… You know how I feel…”

Having performed poorly in charms this morning, Valeria is definitely not feeling friendly. Frustrated and furious with herself, she marches agitatedly down the lengthly corridors of the castle, eyes glaring underneath heavy locks of dark auburn hair. At the sound of music playing - the warm strum of a guitar and a boy’s soft voice - Valeria stops dead in her tracks. She turns her head in the direction of the music.

Never has she heard something so beautiful. But what is beautiful to her ears is not the song, nor the voice; it is the lyrics. Time stops ever so slightly whilst Valeria listens; her head clears, her heart calms. However, the clocks start to tick once again as she realizes she has no time for such laid-back foolishness.
“I must be out of my mind," she thinks, as she recommences her walk back to the Gryffindor Tower. Passing the classroom in which the music is filling. she notices out of the corner of her eye two figures: one peeking outside the door - a girl - and the other sitting with the guitar, singing - a boy. As Valeria does not recognize them, she strolls on by, mind back to reevaluating her malperformance.
