Charms I, Lesson 1: Introduction to Charms

Part One - Introduction:

My name is Valeria, and simply speaking, I knew I had magical talent since I received my letter to Hogwarts. But of course, my parents knew when I was born (God forbid what would have happened to me if I had been a squib). Being someone who enjoys school and learning new things, I am curious about the wandlore portion of charms as well as learning new spells for everyday use. Spells (as well as spell casting theory), in general, is an interest of mine. As it is a hands-on class, I expect that we will be taught how to cast spells as well as be able to practice them in class. I have seen the efficiency and beauty of charms, and hope to be able to incorporate them into my life.

Part Two - Journal Plan:

I enjoy writing traditional journals, so that will be the approach I am going to take. It is, in my belief, the most effective and efficient way to record what I have learned in class and my thoughts.
