On Vanity

Valeria considers her appearance fairly ordinary. Though, once in a while, she does like to think of herself as good-looking, especially with her cerulean eyes and brown-auburn hair. She regularly enjoys putting on makeup and dressing up - not for the boys, but for her own esteem and confidence. Even though many think her a beauty, Valeria has moments of insecurity and often compares herself to other girls, her insecurity stemming from many years living with strict parents who only accept perfection in everything she does (“Why couldn’t you be more like your brother?”).
