What's In My Drawer: Lipstick
Apparently, today is #nationallipstickday (I swear, everything has its own 'day'... is there a #nationalbloggingday too?), so in celebration, here is a post dedicated to my love for lipstick. This is only a partial of my ever-growing collection that I started last year (I think). As a kid, I had a huge love for lip glosses (anything sparkly and yummy... wearing it made me feel more mature) but fell out of it for a while. Now, it is part of my look: "Which lip colour am I feeling today?" The first from this collection that I purchased was the Amuse Bouche - I was intrigued by its natural ingredients, creamy formula, and sleek packaging. But it was the affordable ColourPop with its huge selection of colours that really kick-started my obsession.

My favourite from this selection is the Anastasia Beverly Hills. The formula is really smooth and lightweight, it is not thick nor is it drying on my lips, it is quick-drying, and the lasting power is pretty good. Plus, the shade that I have is great for both a daytime and nighttime lip (thanks Rach, you know my colours).
Anyways, since I photographed this collection, I've purchased a couple others, including:
- ColourPop's Crystal Balm in Aquamarine ($5 USD)
- ColourPop's Ultra Matte Lip in Trap (I'm actually wearing it right now as I'm writing) ($6 USD)
- Kalijumei - that gorgeous colour-changing jelly lipstick - in Barbie Doll Powder ($22 USD)
And so it continues...
